I am a long time cat rescue volunteer with Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center on Long Island NY. Before that I was the New York City chapter (membership of 45,000) of Freecycle International Animal Adoption and Surrender manager for several years. In that role I received all requests for animal surrender, adoption application vetting, home inspections, coordination with the ASPCA of NY and Animal Control helping to save and rescue and place 100s of cats on death row or lost pets being reunited with owners. I was also a fund raisers for BideAwee.
I am a long time member of the American Holistic Veterinary Association, VERY knowledgeable about cat and dog nutrition and holistic/homeopathic care having trained in holistic/natural care for cats.
LASTLY, I was a VP with Citibank and have strong corporate connections as owner of a business. I would like to become involved with national or regional rescues on a board or administrative basis as well.
I specialize in working with traumatized cats and kittens, cat nutrition and feeding as well as being experienced in all aspects of SHELTER maintenance and hygiene.
