I volunteered for about 3 years with two different animal rescue groups while in college. I was a volunteer and shift leader for one, training new volunteers to care for animals in the facility. I was a volunteer, veterinary committee member, and foster for another organization. I acted as a liaison between veterinary clinics, the board members, and fosters to assist with record keeping and any medical needs of animals in our care. I have experience administering medications, organizing fundraising and adoption events, and coordinating veterinary transports. I am also a proud member of the "foster failure" club!
