I've had lots of various pets during my childhood. My parents and grand parents exposed me to many types of animals; chicks, ducks, turtles, birds, cats, dogs, lizards, fish, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs and even goats. The goats weren't pets but as a child visiting my great grandmother, I didn't know any better. As an adult, I prefer dogs. I can connet with them in a way that I can't connect with other animals. My furbaby is a 4 yr old rescue named Gambit and he's quite a character. I sometimes wonder who rescued who. Due to the efforts of a rescue, I have a furbaby that I can share my life with. Hopefully I can contribute to someone else have what have with my Gambit.
