Agency: Department of Agriculture
CVI Required: Yes
Rabies Required: Yes - for 3 months or older
Doobert.com has been obtaining permission to use photo images of CVIs and health certificates as proof that the paper certificates were completed within 30 days. This way, the paper certificates do not need to be transported with the animals reducing the opportunity for them to be lost in the handover from one transporter to the next.
Dog & Cat Requirements
Animals > 3 months must have proof of current and approved (1 or 3 year) rabies vaccination in accordance with the most recent Compendium of Animal Rabies Control published by the National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians, Inc. and be accompanied by a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued within the previous 30 days. Animals transported by commercial carrier require a CVI issued within 10 days of shipment showing proof of the required vaccinations.
