Lindy is currently at the San Jose Animal Care Center available for adoption, however she has been waiting a long time for her forever home. She has been at the shelter since February 2023, and SVPP is looking to bring her into our dog foster program. Notes from a volunteer who took her out on Dog Day Out adventure - Lindy is such a sweet soul. You could immediately tell even before she was leashed up that she was just so grateful to be around people and be out and about. Such a happy dog that excuses “stop and smell the roses” energy. She is calm and laid back, but her playful side came out when we brought out the stuffie toy. She will thrive in a house that understands that older dogs just move slower but are still fun. Did not react to other dogs, did great on leash, loved bird watching!
