Handsome Jack was one of Mamacita's (formerly known as Estrella) puppies. He was adopted in September of 2021 and taken back in January of 2022. 

After his return he was sterilized and put into training. He is 2 years old as of July 2023 and is the most handsome boy you've ever met! When he's trotting around the yard he looks just like a polished equestrian dressage horse strutting his stuff; it's a sight to see!!

He's very well behaved on a leash and in public. He's housebroken, kennel broken and plays well with others. 

Smiling Jack was born shortly before arriving at the San Antonio Animal Shelter (SAPA/ACS) in July, 2021. He was adopted with BB Boo by a married couple out of Killeen in September of 2021. In January I heard that the couple both deployed, the dogs were going to be returned to the shelter, and the dogs had been bred. I confiscated them and one remaining puppy. 

Smiling Jack eventually adjusted and was resocialized with the other dogs and people. He is heartworm negative, scheduled for sterilization surgery and vaccination renewals on 9/21/23. He will start official training in August or September. 

BB Boo came to me in July, 2021 as a four week old pupply with her mother Mamacita (formerly known as Estrella) and her siblings (five). Until September they stayed, played and grew in my master bathroom. I loved caring for them and spent hours cleaning and feeding them daily. BB Boo was adopted in September, 2021 but I had to take her back in January of 2023 as her adopters breached the contract; breeding her.

She came back to me unsterilized, untrained and unsocialized. She is scheduled for her spay surgery and vaccination updates on 8/4/23. She officially started training in July and will be ready for adoption by September!

Clementine has spent over 900 days at the shelter. She arrived as a very young, scared stray that was shy with humans. Staff have spent over 3 years getting Clementine to a more socialized and adoptable state. We believe she's ready, and has been for a long time now for her forever home. She seems to get passed over due to her being a wallflower. She will need time to adjust to a new environment given that she's spent more than half of her life in the shelter. She loves other cats, and finds a lot of comfort in them. We are unsure how she is with dogs, and little kids might scare her away but we do believe the perfect home is out there for this sweet girl. Her adoption fee is sponsored by an amazing volunteer now all she needs is a forever home!
