Cat Life Maine is a Foster Based, 100% Volunteer Run 501(c)(3) organization. Our Mission is to improve the lives of Maine Kitties by providing them with the services they need to survive and thrive. Our primary focus is assisting Community Cats (referred to as ferals) and their caregivers through our Colony Care management Program, we sterilize, vaccinate, provide food, advice, shelter and medical care for as long as the colony exists. We also offer other vital programs to the community such as transportation to our partner low cost spay/neuter clinic in Augusta. Free kitten exchange program where we fix mom for free if you surrender her kittens, free trap training, volunteer opportunities, Temporary foster care, and more.

All Cat Life Maine Volunteers are required to apply for the position and have an interview with our founder and Executive Director. understand that a minor background check will be performed, and references will be checked. To Volunteer with our TNR group, you Must also complete and pass the TNR workshop provided by Neighborhood cats and Community Cats Podcast. We provide the training for free. To Transport for us you must be 21 years of age, have a valid Maine License, clean driving record and show proof of insurance.
