New Favorite Day

New Favorite Day is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue established in 2020. We are committed to reducing the stray and unwanted animal population in Rains County, Texas through education, community involvement, and spay/neuter initiatives. 

Rains County is the 3rd smallest county in Texas, and has no public animal resources. With no Animal Control, City or County shelter, or funding whatsoever, the burden of the dumped pets falls on 3 small rescues.

We welcome any and all assistance in making our county pet-friendly and full of responsible pet owners.
