Fort Bend County Animal Services

About Fort Bend County Animal Services
FBCAS is a municipal shelter that services homeless pets unincorporated Fort Bend County. Our shelter is always full of animals that need someone to foster, adopt, or rescue! We're also looking to ramp up our transport program to help alleviate overcrowding in our shelter.
Please see the guidelines for working with our organization below.
If you're interested in fostering or adopting an animal from us, just stop by the shelter anytime we're open! Our kennel viewing hours are: Mondays - closed Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays - 10AM-4PM Wednesdays - 10AM-7PM Saturdays and Sundays - 11AM-3PM Any animal that has cleared its stray hold, been spayed/neutered, and doesn't have any other holds on it can be adopted or fostered. Fostering to adopt gives you a 10 day trial period to make sure the animal works out for you before you commit to adopting. Short term fosters are also always needed to help us learn more about our animals and give them a shelter break. We also value our animal rescue organization partners! They pull animals from us and take over their care and finding their furever homes. All you'd need to become a rescue partner is to send us a copy of your 501c3 determination letter.
