Dog and Cat Shelter

About Dog and Cat Shelter
The Dog and Cat Shelter is a 'home in between homes' for dogs and cats that have either become separated from their owners or have had to be surrendered to our shelter. Our cats are treated to a home-like environment with day access to the outside and a free roam adoption room. Our dogs have 24 hours outside access, are ran in playgroups, and walked daily. Our programs include, a Senior Dog Program that places senior citizens with senior dogs has been very successful. And Our Stray to Service Program that matches previously stray or surrendered dogs that are now trained service dogs with veterans or people with disabilities.
Please see the guidelines for working with our organization below.
Transfers In: *We take transfers in 5 days a week and can arrange for a transfer on the weekends. *We will take (and have a preference for) senior dogs. *We have extensive experience with feral dogs. *We have a puppy nursery that can house 2 litters at a time. Transfers Out: We very rarely transfer animals out. We will discuss that on a case by case basis.
