Annabelle Acres

About Annabelle Acres
Annabelle Acres is a unique adult Labrador Retriever adoption organization that provides a temporary home for "Retired" Labrador Retrievers. We work closely with licensed breeders in Wisconsin to provide a temporary home for "Retired" Labrador Retrievers. During their stay with us, our Labrador Retrievers brush up on basic skills and socialization manners along with much-needed rest and relaxation. After a refreshing stay at Annabelle Acres, we match our special labs with the special people within our local Wisconsin communities. We love placing our Labrador Retrievers in their "furever" homes with Veterans, First Responders, and Empty Nesters. Our family has owned several Labrador Retrievers over the past 30 years. In 2016, we lost our very sweet Annabelle (above - last picture taken of her) to cancer at the young age of seven. It broke our hearts and changed our lives forever. We now have three full breed female labs - Harper (Yellow), Lucy (Chocolate) and Millie (Black) along with a very special adopted Labrador Retriever (mix) named Howie. The "Big Guy" lived in four states before he was 10 weeks old. Adopting Howie through a rescue agency was our tipping point. Our passion for helping Labrador Retrievers drove us to establish Annabelle Acres. Please contact us if you or someone you know are interested in adopting a Labrador Retriever from Annabelle Acres.
