Humane Society of Chittenden County

HSCC is a private, independent, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering the compassionate treatment of animals and preventing animal suffering; to strengthening the human-animal bond; and to furthering the cause of responsible animal ownership through education and public awareness.

HSCC takes in animals from it's surrounding communities in Vermont as well as from other parts of the country, and works hard to ensure the health and safety of them all. Specific requirements for transport animals are described in HSCC's Animal Transport Policy and will be shared with interested transport partners.
