The Haven

The Haven is a 501(c) 3 adoption guarantee animal shelter who provides a shelter and finds adoptive homes for abused, neglected, and homeless animals treating them with love, respect, and medical care. Through education and volunteer programs, we promote community awareness of pet overpopulation and responsibility. The Haven is a non-profit sanctuary for animals that will be cared for regardless of how long it takes to find them loving homes. The Haven partners with area municipal animal control shelters to identify unclaimed dogs and cats who can be transferred to our agency to prepare the pet for adoption or relocation. The majority of the animals we accept from our partners have treatable medical issues (i.e. canine heartworms, flea deratitis, etc. which their shelters lack the resources to address).
