Happy Tails of Washington County VA

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of animals from the harm of abuse, neglect, abandonment, and unnecessary euthanasia and to the placement of animals in loving, lifetime homes. We support and promote spaying and neutering of all cats and dogs to help control the pet overpopulation and promote education of the public about responsible pet ownership. Members of Happy Tails have been practicing animal rescue since 2003. Our focus is transport to larger areas who have stricter spay and neuter laws as well as a larger pool of adopters.

Must be 501c3. Must have strong adoption process in place including an adoption application with veterinary references (minimum) and adoption contract that includes return to rescue clause, proper lifetime veterinary care, and indoor only pets.
