Chico Animal Shelter

Chico Animal Shelter is a City run facility, serving the community since February 2012. We never euthanize animals for time or space, and only euthanize animals that are irredeemably suffering or too aggressive to adopt out. Due to the support of our community, our donation fund enable us to provide any necessary medical care to make animals adoptable. We have a foster program for orphaned puppies and kittens, and animals recovering from medical care, as well as a fospice program for animals that are not adoptable but still have a good quality of life.
