Lee County Humane Society

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, open-admission shelter serving the cities of Auburn and Opelika by housing stray and unwanted animals. We also provide adoptions services, educational programs and community awareness. Our Mission is to advance humane treatment and responsible ownership of companion animals through community education, animal sheltering and adoption, and alleviation of animal suffering.

We are willing to transport any of our available animals to wherever they need to go. We will try to streamline the process to make it as easy as possible to get them to you.
