Fort Worth Animal Care and Control

We are a municipal shelter taking in over 15,000 animals each year. We have created a transport program, building relationships with organizations throughout the United States within the past two years. Since 2017, with the help of volunteers, over 2000 pets have been transported to shelters across the country.

- All animals eligible for transport have been sterilized, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have a health certificate from our pn-staff shelter Veterinarian - All receiving organizations are required to fill out a transfer partner application and sign an agreement before a transport is scheduled.
