About Great River Rescue
Great River Rescue is a private, nonprofit companion animal shelter located in Bemidji, Minnesota. Each year, we save, care for, and find homes for about 350 dogs and cats. We are a "no-kill" animal shelter that depends on community support to continue our work.

All volunteers must submit a volunteer application and will be interviewed by staff prior to conducting any volunteer tasks.
