Humane Society for Southwest Washington

We are a Humane Society located in Vancouver, Washington serving the Southwest Washington area. We are also a receiving shelter for transports currently coming from Louisiana, Texas, Idaho, California and Alabama.

Washington requires specific health certificates issued by a USDA certified veterinarian, these CVI's will have an individual number and a copy will also need to be sent to the Washington State head veterinarian within 30 days of transport. We are unable to take dogs that are heartworm positive and a heartworm test is required less then 30 days prior to transport and needs to be noted on the CVI individually per dog.
