Alexander County Animal Services

We are the county-run animal control shelter for Alexander County. We are the only shelter/rescue within the county.

We have to have a potential rescue partner fill out a rescue group agreement which provides information on the rescue/shelter. We also ask for them to provide their 501c3 if they have one along with a copy of their adoption contract and any other paperwork/information they think would help us to know them better. We then go through a brief approval process which is the review the information and to check references.
