Benton Franklin Humane Society

A managed admission 501c3 animal shelter located in South Eastern Washington State. We take in owner surrenders and transfers from other shelters. We mostly have a need for small dogs to be transferred in.

Humane Standards of care must be provided to every animal being transported. Any animal crossing state lines must have a valid health certificate (within 30 days)and negative heartworm test results Up to date on all treatments and vaccinations (deworming, flea and tick) Prefer animals be altered but not required Dogs must be dog social (gets along with other dogs) No sick, injured, or otherwise special needs animals unless their transfer has been agreed to by BFHS representative. Prior notice from transferring (outgoing) organization should be clear regarding animals needs.
