Johnson County Humane Society

We are a small rescue group that fosters dogs, cats, kittens and puppies in our private homes. We attend mobile adoption events at various stores and events.

We have a foster agreement that must be completed and we do a home visit prior to placing any foster pet in your home. We do not authorize any random shelter pulls without prior approvals. We have worked with several shelters in our area and they have paperwork that must be completed by a representative in our group that is on file with their shelter. All fosters must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots, on heart worm preventative and flea protection. Our group provides all of this for the foster home. All animals must be posted on our website and made available for visits from potential adopters
