Humane Indiana

Humane Indiana is committed to animal health and well-being. By evoking our vision and employing our core values, we will achieve our ultimate goal: the humane treatment of animals. We are a limited admission shelter without animal control contracts. We follow a managed admission system and consistently monitor our capacity for care and LOS.

For transporting canines to us we require the following: 

-puppies must receive at least the first distemper vaccine

-all dogs must have Distemper and Bordetella vaccines

-all dogs over 6 months must be Heartworm tested

-we will not accept any behavioral or medical issues

-dogs over 6 months cannot be any bully breed/pit mix types
