Southern Pines Animal Shelter

About Southern Pines Animal Shelter
Southern Pines Animal Shelter was founded in 1952 and has a mission to provide humane shelter for homeless and lost cats and dogs, provide affordable spay/neuter and healthy pet services, encourage adoptions, and educate the community about responsible pet ownership. The organization operates a Shelter that cares for thousands of lost and unwanted dogs and cats each year, and also operates a Spay and Neuter Clinic and the Second Chance Thrift Shop. Since 2015, the Southern Pines Transport Program has partnered with local shelters and rescues to help more than 11,000 animals from around Mississippi to find homes in northern states.
