Homeward Bound Waggin, Inc is an all volunteer, 501c3, animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated for euthanziation in our local facilities and when possible we take owner surrenders to prevent them entering the animal control facilities to begin with. We are Dept of Ag licensed to operate in Illinois, Missouri and Pennsylvania. All of our animals are given a physical exam by a licensed vet, dogs are heartworm tested, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and bordetella (age appropriate) and cats are FIV/Leuk tested and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP (age appropriate). We temperament test all animals to the best of our ability. We transport directly to your location.

Our number one rule is that the receiving rescue can not euthanize any animal we transfer to them. If for any reason a rescue is not able to keep an animal we transfer to them we request they contact us and we will come back and get them.
