A Forever Home Rescue Foundation

A Forever Home Rescue Foundation (AFH) is a non-profit animal rescue organization registered in Virginia. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused, neglected, and unwanted puppies and dogs. Since our incorporation in 2002 we have rescued or aided in the rescue of over 20,000 dogs! We have almost 2,100 volunteers out of which approximately 900 are foster homes. We have experience with puppy mill busts, hoarding cases, and disaster response and adopt out approximately 1,000 puppies/dogs every year. Every one gets a home visit and we require that dogs be returned to us if their adopter can't keep them for any reason.
