Heartland Animal Shelter

Heartland Animal Shelter has been rescuing, rehabilitating & rehoming dogs and cats for 15 years. We take all breeds & behavior types. Dogs are kept in separate kennels and walked 2-4 times per day. Cats interact in an enclosed area & have own cages.

We pull animals from Chicago but also from the south. We especially need help moving a handful of dogs per year from a rescue in SC to IL. We can make pick ups/drop offs work for both parties & can work with whatever type of transportation.
