Breeder Release Adoption Svc

About Breeder Release Adoption Svc
We rescue dogs from breeding facilities who the breeders no longer find useful, puppies they cannot sell, and dogs from euthanasia lists from some selected shelters. They are brought to our shelter where they are spayed/neutered, all health issues addressed and the rehabilitation process has begun. We have foster homes in 3 states, CO, NM, and AZ. All potential adopters are carefully screened and our return rate is about 9% out of an average of 400 of these dogs adopted every year.
Please see the guidelines for working with our organization below.
Since we primarily rescue dogs from puppy mills, hoarding situations and other less than ideal situations, our rescued dogs cannot be crated under any circumstances. We provide a collar with ID, harness, leash, toy, blanket, sweater or shirt, belly bands for the boys and all records. Please visit our site for information on fostering and to learn more about our organization. www.breederadoptions.org. We have been rescuing dogs for 13 years, along with a small team of about 30 volunteers who foster and help transport, many of whom have been with us for years. We have no paid staff and my husband and I care for approximately 60 to 100 dogs at any given time. I go to the mid west every month and pick up anywhere from 25 to 55 dogs depending on space availability at our main facility.
