King is currently at ACC in Manhattan. Here is what a volunteer has to say about him: All hail King! A gentle giant with the heart-melting good looks of a movie star and the easy-going temperament of a snoozy porch hound, King is a sweetheart of the highest order. Getting to know him on our first date was such a pleasure. He's a slow walker on leash and seemingly house trained, not much for athletics but a strong puller once he sees a dog he'd like to meet, and he's definitely not shy about jumping up for a 'hug' in order to get closer to my treats either! Friendly yet independent, King's mostly about sniffing and exploring, but still takes time out for petting and to show off his 'sit' (in exchange for more treats of course!). Though he rarely cracks a smile, his wagging tail tells me he's having a grand old time just chilling out and living in the now. A great fit for almost any lifestyle choice, from Netflix bingeing to long walks through the park, King is ready and waiting for a new family to love. Come crown him King of your heart today!
